General Information
Taylor's 10 Year Old Tawny is an excellent example of a tawny port with indication of age made from selected red port wines, which originated from the best vineyards of Cima Corgo and Douro Superior. The individual wines are aged in wooden casks of approximately 630 litres capacity for an average of 10 years. During this time, these wines lose their initial dark purple-black colour and take on the delicate tawny hue from which the wine takes its name.
Velvety and elegant, combining delicate wood notes with rich ripe fruit aromas, Taylor's age-toned tawnies are bottled for immediate consumption.

Tasting Notes:
Deep brick color with amber halo. Rich and elegant nose, combining ripe berry fruit aromas with delicate dried fruit and subtle, honeyed notes of chocolate, caramelized condensed milk and fine oak wood. Smooth and silky on the palate, full of ripe fig and glutinous flavours that persist on the long finish.

Service Tips
Taylor's 10 Years Old is a delicious dessert wine, and harmonizes particularly well with flavors of almonds, berries or dark chocolate. It can also accompany intense cheeses, blue cheese. It is excellent at the end of meals, as the culmination of a pleasant evening, served alone, with walnuts or toasted almonds. It benefits if served slightly chilled, especially on hot days.
