ORIGIN
At the Natural Park of Douro lnternational, in Freixo de Espada à Cinta, we created this white wine, from best vineyard blocks of the Casa Agricola Manuel Joaquim Caldeira. Fermented in french oak using native Douro grapes: Códega do Larinho, Rabigato e Gouveio. This is a natural product, subject to throw some sediments with age. For this harvest were produced 2333 Bottles. 

VINIFICATION
Manual harvest, smooth pressing of whole curls, temperature-controlled fermentation at 16ºC. Partial fermentation in new fine-grained French oak barrels followed by stirring of fine lees. 

AGEING
French (2/3) and American (1/3) oak barrel ageing. 

TASTE
Intense and complex aroma of white fruits balanced by the stage in barrels and with a mineral touch, with the freixenist character of the Douro Superior. 

PAIRING TIPS
Try it with baked fish, cod, white meat and soft cheese.
