ORIGIN
To create this wine, we collect the white grapes of Moscatel Galego in the old vines of Quinta dos Castelares estate, located at the Freixo de Espada a Cinta Douro Superior sub-region at an average altitude of 600 meters. Stony schist soils, typical Douro terraced vineyards, facing northeast. 

VINIFICATION
Hand picked harvest. Soft pressure of the whole grapes. Fermentation at 16ºC in French oak barrels with "Bâttonage". 

AGEING
ln stainless steel vats until bottling. 

TASTE
Intense and complex aroma, notes of pear and tangerine, with mineral hint. It has the 'freixenista' character of the Douro Superior.

This wine is elegant and fruity, the perfect match with roasted fish dishes.
