General Information
Taylor's 20 Year Old Tawny is a magnificent and delicately constituted blend of old tawnies, produced in limited quantities. Selected red ports, produced in the eastern areas of the Douro Valley, including Taylor's own estates, are aged in oak casks in Taylor's cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. There, the cool and humid climate allows a gentle aging process, producing aromas of great complexity and delicacy. In Tawny 20 Years, the fruit ends up velvety more than in the 10 Years and the spicy and nutty aromas, given by aging, are more powerful and intense.
Like the 10 Year Old, the 20 Year Old is bottled when ready to drink and requires no extra bottle ageing time.

Tasting Notes:
Intense amber-aloir colour. Opulent and voluptuous nose of complex spices, glutinous and nutty aromas, hints of orange blossom and a delicate woodiness from the long ageing period in cask. The palate is full of very rich and concentrated flavours and has a long, velvety finish.

Service Tips
It is an excellent accompaniment to many desserts. It combines well with flavors of figs, almonds and caramel. It is also excellent to accompany a milk-cream or a bowl of strawberries. It can also be enjoyed alone, at the end of the meal, with nuts or other dried fruit. Serve chilled in summer.
